New Mouse
After many years of service my Logitech Anywhere MX needs replacng (The left click button has a fault that double clicks).
Its an annoying faulty as I have often open many a file rather than just click on it. I want one that is durable and preferably wireless, so is a gaming mouse worth looking at. Any views or recommendations? |
Re: New Mouse
Gaming mice usually have a wired connection. What sort of things will you be using thre mouse for other than the usual browsing and opening files?

Re: New Mouse
Logitech is the dog's bits. They have outlasted all other mice I have used.

Re: New Mouse
Yup most (but not all) game mice are wired.
I have a rat 7 http://www.cyborggaming.com/prod/rat7.htm The rat 9 is the wireless version. |
Re: New Mouse
I have a wired MX518 for gaming but not used it for a while. Normally stick with the wireless Logitech MX Revolution.
The one thing I've learnt is that the mouse is as good as the mouse mat or surface. As I got a new mat for Xmas (Fellowes memory foam wrist jobbie) it feels like I've got a brand new mouse. |
Re: New Mouse
Thanks for the input, the mouse is primary used for general use and I might get GTA V but as IV don't work I'm not sure.
I do play the Sims 3. It the first mouse I've had the left button got pfft, and my first Logitech. |
Re: New Mouse
My last Logitech mouse had the same fault.
[All Logitech covered by 3years guarentee] Just made contact with Logitech and exchanged, sent keyboard back at same time. |
Re: New Mouse
Seems to be a common theme with Logitech mice, it was the reason i replaced my old MX Revolution too. Still wouldn't use another brand though, i like them over other brands enough that i don't mind replacing every few years.

Re: New Mouse
Funny how my Logitech keyboard/mouse combo go iffy within the 3 year guarentee period. Just make contact with them and replaced after confirming model and serial No.
3Year guarentee period is from date of replacement, so a continuous replacement service. [Read into that whatever you may] lol |
Re: New Mouse
Logitech all the way here with awesome mouse wheel.

Re: New Mouse
looking at the Logitech G700
|
Re: New Mouse
I have a MX518, solid and reliable, works on practically any surface :)
|
Re: New Mouse
Have used a wide variety of mice in the past but none of them including a older Logitech one compare to my current Corsair M65.
It wasn't cheap but it's well made and is perfect for gaming and general use. My other choice though would have to be the previous mouse I had which was a Microsoft Sidewinder. |
Re: New Mouse
Well I bought the G700, now I need a degree on how to program the buttons :D
I didn't pay the RRP £120 :o |
