Virgin Media Mates Rates
 

Just a quick question really. Been looking at mates rate and weighing up options. Noticed if you take the Premier Collection with a second box you get the option to add SKY Sports 1 & 2. If however you chose the Premier Collection with just 1 box, you can only choose to take the SKY Sports collection. There isn't an option to take just SKY Sports 1 & 2. Any idea why this is?

The Mates Rates option is a discount for either the Premiere or VIP Collections because you are a friend of a VM staff member.

Apart from that, additional services are the same, so you should be able to have any version of Sky Sports with the Premiere Collection. Be aware though, you need the full Collection for it to work with TV Anywhere on a PC / Mac

Cheers for the info Ben however the Mates Rates site doesn't have the option to select just SKY Sports 1 & 2 with the single box version of the Premier Collection.

Not sure what website that is, Mates Rates doesn't have one!

It's an offer through my work in conjunction with Virgin Media. It says its a mates rates deal however doesn't the mates rates deals usually include line rental? Probably best I don't post a link to the site on an open forum.

That would be Partner Rates then. Personally I think the option of Sky Sports 1&2 on there is an error - it's not something that promoted anywhere else.
