Been out of contract now for about 18 months and have TV XL with TiVo, 120 MB BB and Phone M but need a second TiVo for the back room. Will Virgin send me a second box in the post as a self-install or will they insist on an engineer visit. The back room is where the separate cable modem feed is hooked into and would probably just require a splitter.

Needs an engineer visit, they don't do self installs for TiVo.

Best bet is to phone up and try get it free install and then you just pay the additional £11.50 per month.

£11.50 is the maximum extra you would have to pay on a monthly basis.

It could be significantly less than that, dependent on what you pay today.

You may be able, for instance, to move to something based on the Premiere Collection which includes charges for two boxes.

As always, the best route is via Retentions, the group that look after those who are considering leaving (or just want the best deal at the best price).
