Power Tools - Wall Chaser
 

I need one of these that cuts out the middle bit as well instead of just cutting 2 lines down the wall.

Any ideas or links please?

What you need is a L.A.B.O.U.R.E.R. They can be got quite cheap nowadays.
They follow behind and remove anything that you don't want with little or no noise.
