Some advice please

I have been a happy VM customer for 3 years now, however have just noticed that through my employer (CQC) and the VMRates site i am entitled to a special deal. The deal happens to match exactly what i currently have (Premier collection + phoneline rental)

It will save £5 a month on my bill for 18 months (Down from £52.99 to £47.99) and give me a free Samsung Tablet.

I am currently out of contract with VM but it will not let me sign up for this deal as i am not a new customer.

What is the easiest way for me to get this deal, can retentions do it? CAn i take a payslip into the VM shop and can they do it? Or will i have to cancel have them remove all my equipment and then sign up to this deal (really dont want that).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can't cancel and then resign up for 3 months i think.

To stop folk that are not entitled to the deal as they have all 3 services getting the offer

In that case i think a call to Virgin maybe in order to see what they can do. If nothing i am not about to continue to pay more than i should be

Spoke with customer services who were more than happy to match the offer minus the tablet. They have said if it talk to retentions they should be able to offer me the deal with tablet. Going to try them tomorrow. Hey even if i dont get the tablet a further £5 off my bill a month is better off in my pocket and should nicely cover the price increase in Feb :D
