Nadine Dorries apologises over TV fees

Quote:

Conservative MP Nadine Dorries has apologised to MPs for failing to properly register income made from her appearance on I'm A Celebrity in 2012.
She should also apologise for not doing her job in favour of promoting herself on a reality TV show.

She's a disgrace and ought to stand down. In fact she should have done that a long time ago!

It's like George Galloway and Big Brother. He missed the Crossrail vote despite it going though his own constituency! I can't stand Members of Parliament who show such contempt for it and for democracy. Represent your damn constituents!

Exactly. If you're going to be an MP act as one! If you want to pursue an alternative career as a ghastly lycra clad 'celebrity' slimeball, get the hell out of parliament and leave it to those who care about their constituents.

MP's giving a damn about their constituants

I quite like "MadNad" at least she isn't scared to call it as it is.

I wish to echo your statement but shorten it somewhat

" I can't stand members of parliament "

Not many MP's there to apologize to and having payments made to that media consultancy company is definitely suspicious ,why would she do that if she had given her parliamentary salary to charity
