A family was given a £15 gift card after finding a deadly black widow spider in a bunch of grapes purchased from a local supermarket

There's about a hundred false Widows here. I just don't see the big deal though.

Ironically, its the smaller ones that are poisonous, but its the massive, hideous looking house spiders lurking around my office that make me jump, and subsequently have me stood on my chair trying to squash it with a brush or hoover pipe!

I'm about to go find the biggest false widow outside and take a picture. Then we'll see if house spiders are so bad.

Night does it no justice but I assure you that's about the same size as a house spider. Dem fangs.

Glad I have two cats. Not seen a spider in my home in 4 years.

I think they're brilliant creatures. I've always wanted a tarantula or two but I just don't have the time due to working away.
