Tivo saying recording 2 things but its not.
 

For some reason my Tivo red lights are on(The recording ones) but ive not set it to record anything and its not recording anything.

This has happened a couple of times in the last couple of weeks.

does anyone know what the problem could be?

It lies, just like Mrs K. You can't rely on anything these days.

Switch it off and on again, that will teach it a lesson.

It's recording programmes it thinks you may like. Press the My Shows button, then scroll down to the Suggestions folder. Press OK, and you'll find up to 50 recordings that you may like. Suggestions will never stop your planned recordings from happening, and they will get automatically deleted if it needs the space.

If you don't want it to ever record Suggestions, go to Home -> Help & Settings-> Settings -> Recordings -> Suggestions and tell it not to record them.

I wouldn't let it do that.

What next ? Tivo decides what you like for your tea? What you'd like to wear ? Whose mother you have to visit that weekend ? Is this starting to sound familiar ? Switch it off before it's power becomes absolute.

It's called recommendations, TiVo record programs you might like based on what you like and have watched/recorded.
