Good Question for you ?
 

I have just been watching STORAGE WARS on TV, and they found a Scottish Kilt.

It was stated on the show that Scotsman/women don't wear anything under the kilt - why, is there a reason behind this or just a myth.

For use in battle. When they need to pinch one off they can just crouch down, drop anchor and be on their way.

You just don't. Unless it's a hire kilt then feel free to wear whatever you want under it.

If your wearing your own kilt things should be free and breezy down there.

most ancient races wore skirt like clothing. The trouser is a relatively new idea. I seriously doubt the Welsh or Celt was the first
