Good enough start to new series however it is doomed because Summer Glau has joined the cast

She is the kiss of death for any tv series lol. Has there been anything that she has been in that has lasted longer than the initial season she started in?

Enjoyed ep1 :) I laughed when I saw Summer Glau was in it - and - I think she's had some surgery on her face...or age has quickly caught up with her as she looks quite different.
