Anyone since the July update?

Moved onto 120mb yet...mine was end of July I am aware that the site is not upto date. I was wondering if anyone had moved onto it yet that had the same date?

I'm in Leeds LS14 and still on 100mb I thought there might have been a delay but wasn't expecting to still be waiting in Oct.

Site checker says I have it, bill says 100mb still and all speed tests are still 100mb

Have you spoken to CS to see if they can upgrade you early? Usually they don't send out the mass upgrade until the whole area is upgraded, but if your CMTS has been upgraded they can upgrade you individually.

Or as they did with us, upgraded us to 100Meg before our area was ready and caused all sorts of issues....

forget speed tests dude, check your modem config to see what you are actually provisioned for. If you are on 120mbits you'll be provisioned for 133/12. If you havent been upgraded ring up and tell them myvirginmedia says your area has been enabled and they can push it through manually for you like synthetic said.

This. There's a lot of issues that cause people to get stuck at 100Mbit. Check the modem config.

I was stuck at 100 when my area upgraded, complete nightmare with CS who wanted to charge to go from 100 to 120. Eventually spoke to someone in the UK who switched me to 120 and reduced my bill by £3.50 per month as I was now in a different bundle!

But the upgrade is free of charge they can't charge you for it?

For the same reason he is now saving £3.50 per month because he "is in a different bundle"

It's only free if they say it's free

ah right I wonder if that is why I haven't been upgraded then, when I moved house they did me a deal and I got my package knocked down to £46 for 6 months going back to the original price in December

This is what my bill says I guess I will have to wait till December to upgrade then?

That deal shouldn't affect it, it's a discount, not a package change. I'd phone up and see what's going on with it.

Re: Anyone since the July update?

yeah, the only way you would be on 100mbits is if you either signed up to it from the get go or was doubled from 50mbits. Either way, you should have been bumped up to 120mbits once it was available in your area and everyone should be paying the same price (£25/month)
