Adding a Switch to extend number of ports
Hi,
All I want to do is extend the number of LAN ports I have on my Virgin Superhub. I bought myself a TP-Link gigabit switch and connected it to my Superhub using a Cat5 cable. I was then expecting to be able to use the other seven ports on the switch to connect various devices to the router. My wifi connection in other parts of the house isn't great so I thought this would be a simple way of getting a reliable internet connection. Have I missed something? Should this not be a simple plug and play situation? It's really starting to bother me so I'm going to sit here and drink beer until someone gives me an answer. Thanks |

All I can suggest is make sure your superhub is NOT running in Modem mode. What problems are you actually encountering with this? |

Indeed, would be a bit late for an ambulance in all probability.
