take the bike off her. and the car keys. and it's probably a good idea to remove the controls from the cooker.

Someone's in trouble when she gets home. all that way to go and get his lager and she turns around without it.

I head on the has handed herself in to police.

Credit to her for taking responsibility and she clearly wasn't paying attention rather than recklessly playing chicken.

Some cyclist do not think the road law applies to them, I regularly see them crossing when the traffic lights is at red.:(

Yes it's weird, she seems to have been 'paying enough attention' to cycle around the barrier in front of her. Either she didn't not realise what it was for or decided to ignore it until she realised a train was approaching. It'd be interesting to find out the truth but my God she's a very lucky lady.

So dangerous to so many yet they have no qualifications and many do not even wear basic protection....

You should see them in Cambridge... an absolute nightmare :erm::rolleyes:

Every day I see cyclists jump red lights, cycle in the dark with no lights, take their children to school without them or the kids wearing helmets...(the worst school run cyclist I've seen so far was a guy carrying his young toddler in one arm while holding the handle bars with the other).

Bet she does, what's wrong with trains, don't they know cyclists own the road and as such their importance supersedes every other vehicles.

What a Numpty!

Some cyclists think they own the roads.
The amount of cyclists I see every day flying through red lights as they think they dont apply to them! Crazy!

Yup, it does get my goat when I see all these adverts for driver to 'think bike'. Why no similarly high profile adverts aimed at improving the behaviour of bikers?

The Think Bike campaign is more about motorbikes. They do need licences and the campaign works for them too. However the main danger for motorcyclists is someone pulling out in front of them or turning into them. In these situations it's more sensible to target the driver to look into their blind spot as a motorbike is harder to spot than a car and they tend to have the inside line when turning right so can't turn into anyone.
