1139430303 at bottom left of screen
 

Whilst watching the live football on Sky Sports on my Tivo, I periodically get this display come up on the screen. It doesn't happen with BT Sports, and it doesn't seem to happen with anything other than football.

If I pause the live picture, the pause bar causes the display to disappear, but as soon as I press play and the bar disappears, it's back again!

Anyone know what this is, and how I can get rid of it?

Its to stop piracy of the channel as some people try to stream content online and the numbers will help identify the owner of the stream.

But why the insistence on having the number at the bottom left? Why not have it above the Sky Sports logo where Sky place it for their own customers?

I think some streaming channels cover up that area with their own logo.

So they put it in an area which will be shown.... But of course that's in the way of the content

Record the show, then fast forward until its live.

No more annoying number.

Which is ok if you aren't watching on a V HD box.

I don't necessarily have an issue with the number being on the screen somewhere but to have it bottom left where Sky place their stats during the game is a poor move.

As others have said, put it top right above the logo just as Sky do.
