this tivo tv guide is get stupid for errors nat geo got program about hurriane sandy at 8pm tonight no sign on virgin tv guide showing mudcats defo uk site aswell had it confirmed that it got changed by nat geo so virgin are useless for updating it

Incorrect as usual is a) inaccurate and b) unfair. Errors occur on all these epgs..

I find errors quite a lot between what my TiVo says is on compared to what my VHD box says that's why I stated 'as usual'. However, tonight both my boxes say the same - and that is that Mudcats is on at 8pm

Also shows some programmes are on catchup, but when you try to see them they are not.

new series off strippers cars for cash starts next week tivo telling me it aint on it gettin stupid on fone to tivo support now to get it sorted

Virgin use an external company for TiVo epg data. So I wouldn't solely blame VM for the errors.

It's a bit like subtitles. Several really silly errors but an essential service that is of great use.

The errors in real-time subtitles are a consequence of they way they are generated. They could be made more accurate, but that would delay their broadcast, and getting them out quickly is arguably more important.

The errors are in more than real time subtitling.

The old human driven system was far better. The ones during the Royal Baby story were an utter joke in places... Sainsbury's was the place of birth at one point and the Queen changed sex to a "great grandfather" which is basic stuff.

Always finding programmes I've recorded when played back are not what I was expecting due to Tivo EPG having wrong listings, almost a daily occurrence.

I agree hardly ever happens to me except when Eurosport decide to move coverage between their two channels...
