Do I need an Aerial?

just got one of these SANDSTROM S22FED12 Full HD 22" LED TV with Built-in DVD Player

more for watching DVDs on than anything else

but I see it has freeview - and have been given conflicting advice
about aerials - basically - do I need one or not?

If you just want to watch DVDs, then no. If you want to use it to watch broadcast television, then yes.

Re: Do I need an Aerial?

as feared the reception is fairly ropey with an internal aeriel

it's like the old days when you would get someone to hold the thing in the air and get them to move around shouting 'stop there' etc

You can get some pretty good indoor aeriels these days, but it really depends on what the signal strength is like in your area
