Is this any good?

I've found this on ebay.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/D-link-DSR...item2a2dc8ee25

I've got a Draytek 2920n at home, but it's nearly 3 years old andI fancy upgrading. Can't find much info on it as it's quite a new model. Just wondered if anyone on here had come across one or even has one

Have a look at the details of it here. Give them a bell for more advice they are very helpful.

Personally I would stay clear of DLink and stay with Draytek but it looks very Draytek based.

Well, if you have two WANs to hook up, otherwise it's gross overkill - sure as heck not going to go for the £50

There is a dual-WAN version of tomato firmware for some of the ASUS models, but the various tomato mods are getting rather fragmented.

I do have 2 connections, VM 120 and PlusNet upto 8 (soon to be fibre), hence the Draytek, which I have to say has been brilliant and faultless. So good I installed one at work!;)

Did have a nose at the manual, makes me wonder if I'm better to stick with what I have.

If there's nothing wrong with your Draytek, stick to it?

Can I just say,

The question "Is it any good" is only equaled by the question "Is it in yet"

I have a superhub... Nothing can be worse than that right? Even my old telewest modem was better.

By 'eck, just looked and it was no bid, relisted at £50 again ... but when the guy SELLING it says he prefers the Draytek, that's not exactly a great sales pitch!

Re: Is this any good?

lol He was probably trying to give people a reason as to why he was getting rid of it...
Because the instant reaction is: is it broken?

He probably wants to ensure the customer he just prefers another router... He should probably make it clear it's due to personal preference rather than performance though!
