Spotify & Not paying BBC Licence

I myself am sick of the dumbed down left wing BBC (with possible exception of the news quiz, now show etc)

so I took a premium trial of spotify at 9.99/month

am sick and tired of hearing 'news bulletins' every half hour about the latest shiite about muslims and who's car bombed who - so how about if I pay spotify the fee instead?

Personally I enjoy BBC programming however I know that not everyone does, and not everyone enjoys paying for the license fee.

Enjoy Spotify, I liked it when I got a 3 month trial when taking TiVo. Fantastic if you enjoy great music, even better if you want to avoid BBC news coverage.

What does Spotify have to do with the BBC and how does it fill the intellectual void caused by the BBC's dumbing down?

You appear to be disproving the adage....

They do say that, doesn't appear to be true however.

Not really a problem, I haven't paid the BBC Tax for almost 30 years. :p:

Re: Spotify & Not paying BBC Licence

A friend of mine hasn't paid the BBC for years. In fact when they get a letter through about it, it's usually a fine... for £60, which is cheaper than the license in the first place, so they pay that and be done with it for another year!

I've never paid it. Then again I've never owned a TV. :p:

Yes, I am one of the mythical (according to TVL) 2%!
