Fibre rollout question
 
This will seem obvious but when fibre rollout is completed on your exchange, will the ADSL speed change (i.e. go from 6mb to the "full" 14mb) or are they totally separate?

They are totally separate so your adsl speed would not increase. You would need to subscribe to a fibre package (which your current adsl provider may offer) and have a new install that involves an engineer visit to do some stuff including putting in a fibre modem.

Sometimes it takes a little while after an exchange is fibre ready before isp's can offer it to customers.

The ADSL speed increase programme (aka 21CN upgrade) is separate to the FTTC rollout.
