Should I cancel engineer?

I had a problem with my Tivo box last night turned on TV and all I got was a message, HDMI not available. Rebooted swapped leads nothing, works ok from DVD player so wasn't Telly. So phoned up and in the end booked an engineer for Thursday.
This morning turned on working OK. Now should I cancel the engineer or not and if I don't and if he finds nothing wrong will I get charged.
Your advice please

If it's working and you can't repeat the issue then it's best to cancel. Someone else may really need that slot.

Am sure they would not mind if you need a further call-out if the problem reoccurs. As TweetiePooh says someone could be in real need of that slot.

Well he's canceled. It's bound to go wrong now. It's just having to go through all the explaining again ;)
