I have virgin media xl pack

but dont like it much want to cancel the sub i have andjust have the broadband.

What channels would I be left with, the freeview ones?

itv2
bbc1 etc...?

nothing unless you manage to get onto the freeview tier which i doubt youll get on, they no longer offer it. i think im right here, i could be wrong though :erm:

thats all i want, no phone contract, just the broadband, with standard bbc1 2 itv etc... free channels

You live in a cable area. That product is for those that don't live in a cabled area.

Your TV almost certainly has Freeview anyway.

Why do you say that? MY main TV set doesn't have freeview, it's not even HD

Besides, if they don't have an aerial, a set with Freeview is pretty pointless ;)


OP, try phoning retentions saying you wish to drop the XL tv pack as you only find you're watching the free to air channels, you may be pleasantly surprised at what they offer you.
