Either T.V. or Box..can't get both!

After having everything disconnected for a few weeks..we have put everything back hopefully in the same places etc. but we can only get either T.V. on the digital Aerial or Through the Virgin Box..Can't get both..Can anyone help us with the connections ..if we have done something wrong.

Thanks

If it's been disconnected a few weeks, you might need to call 150 to re-activate your smart card.

If you can actually get Virgin on your TV I doubt if the card is the issue.

Can you outline how you have connected your TV aerial and VM cables?

With my set up I plug both cables into the back of my TV then use the TV remote to choose between the two inputs.

Just read your other thread, it does sound as though you need to phone VM if you now get an invalid notice. You could try the community support forum if you don't have a VM phone and don't want to use the 0845 number.

At the moment we can't get the Box at all..just the T.V. Hubby has been changing cables around..We have a D.V.D. Recorder..a V.C.R. plus the Box and the T.V. Cables everywhere..very complicated etc. yesterday we could get the Box up but no signal to T.V. But I think it could be the Box as it has been left disconnected for a few weeks..and I am bein told it may need sorting by Virgin etc. as it has froze up. So that may be the problem.

I think you need to call VM as it sounds like a problem with your smartcard or box as paultrademark & joglynne suggested above
