Cancellation Charges = loophole?

Can you ring up one week to downgrade then ring up to cancel the following week and use the lower tier charges?

Depends what downgrading does - it could very well put you into a new contract, meaning your cancellation charges end up being higher

on the subject of cancellation Ben I often wondered - if you move house are you still liable for the costs of your contract or does the address change void it?

If you move and don't take up a new contract with Virgin Media, you are liable for cancellation charges on your current contract.
