Webmail - why has keyword search bar been removed?
I logged into webmail today to discover that I could no longer put in a search of a specific word to find specific inforumatioon in my e-mails
An example would be if I wanted to find a password for something I had registered on. AS of today, it is no longer possible to type in a search for a word on the e-mails. You can still search people, but you cannot search actual e-mail words! I now have no way of searching my e-mails. Please can you help me? Thanks. ---------- Post added at 10:22 ---------- Previous post was at 09:32 ---------- I have actually found a partial answer. In the Search People box type the person you sent it to then you can browse recent convrstion - but that is not the answer. What happens if you cannot remember who you sent it to! The previous way of doing it was VERY useful. It would appear that Google mail who host virgin media wabmail are trying their damnedest to make things a lot more difficult for customers. |

It's not Google that's making it difficult.
The search bar is still there for my google domain mail account, right next to my logo It seems Virgminmedia have removed it in favour of their header and custom web search |

Re: Webmail - why has keyword search bar been removed?
First time here as i was looking to see if anyone had noticed that keyword search function has gone. I use it a lot and generally like the webmail experience but this causes me a problem. Is it an error on the system? Do they plan to put it back?

I can confirm that the keyword search bar is now back and functioning normally. Thank goodness for that. It is a very useful function.
