Greed is what Capitalism is all about even those who have plenty always want more hence the tax exiles and businesses only interested in keeping shareholders happy and not the consumer.

Consumers are often also shareholders via their pensions etc. but that's a subject for another thread.

For 5 years, they did get away with it.
If it was a one-off incident, then they might claim being of "previous good character", but as they repeatedly carried on for 5 years, they can't.

Amazing the number of times, where first time being caught, somehow translates into first time that they have committed a crime.

Clearly there aren't too many check being applied to such things. Given the amounts involved I find that staggering but then again it's only taxpayers' money isn't it... :mad:

Wonder if more check are now being made elsewhere within the CPS and in other public bodies...

That works out at around £4,000.00 worth of bogus taxi fares being paid out for 5 years.
there's corruption everywhere. and it's the taxpayer that funds it.
