Message Tone but have no messages
 

Hi there all.

im new to the site and the Virgin media family so please be nice to me!!!

ok my Virgin media services was installed yesterday and very since the phone line went live the there is a message tone but we have no messages!!!

is this normal and how can i get it to a normal tone?

if you have any features on the line you will also have the intermittent dial tone,one is longer than the other though.
read your telco help guide booklet that the installer left and it'll tell you which buttons to press to check which features you have on the line.
failing that CS can remove then re-add the voicemail feature which should clear the dial tone.;)
