Onedin Line actor Peter Gilmore dies
 

Peter Gilmore, star of TV drama The Onedin Line, has died at a hospice in London after a long illness. He was 81.

Very sad to hear of his passing as l fondly remembered his strong willed ways in this excellent series.:(

I loved watching the Onedin Line. In Black and White on our trendy 14" White TV it remains a vivid memory from the 70's. Peter Gilmore at the helm with his incredible whiskers and The Mary Rose heeling in the wind, a vision I will never forget.

RIP Mr Gilmore.
