Netgear GS108 Switch

I am currently using the white Netgear fs105 gigabit switch but I am thinking of changing to the Netgear GS108 Switch, I need at least one more connection than I have now.

Can anyone tell me what is the difference, apart from the looks, and which is the better of the 2.

I would imagine I can use the GS108.

I rather like the look of the blue GS108 better than the white one.

Unless you have a specific need for advanced features (VLAN, 802.1q, STP, etc.) pretty much every switch is the same as any other.

I use the GS108 without problem. I can't be bothered to compare specs, but I recall something to do with total throughput from simulataneous sources.

Thats funny i changed my switch from a fs105 to a GS108, main reason for changing mine though was for the gigabit ethernet. After changing it, noticed a lot faster transfer speed between PC's other then that all else is the same.
