wpa2-psk problem
I'm not sure if its know, but i fix computer for a living and one constant problem i come get a lot is older devices refusing to connect to the super hubs wpa2-psk key including one of my older laptop. I went out a got a new router at the weekend because i have had enough with the poor speed and performance of the hub and i tried my old laptop and its working fine with the wpa2-psk on my new router with great speeds!
have virgin done something to the super hub's that don't make it comply with the wpa2-psk standards? |

1) "older" devices may not neccessarily support wpa2 and will probably be trying to use wpa (I know you said a new router rectifies the issue) 2) are you sure the shub isnt dual band. Have you set it to use wireless n only on 5ghz and the older devices are only 802.11b trying to connect at 2.4ghz? |
Re: wpa2-psk problem
nope it was all set up correctly :) i have quite a few problem that people with older device that do support WPA2 connecting to it then not being able to send or receive data so i think there must be another problem with the hub because its not just mine and its normally windows xp computers
