Wrong regional news on Daybreak
For the last couple of days I have been getting the Yorkshire Calender news on Daybreak rather than the Granada opt out.
Is this just a local problem or is it happening regionally? |
Re: Wrong regional news on Daybreak
Whereabouts are you? Sometimes if there is a fault they switch in the feed from an adjacent region.
If you have an HD-capable box, try watching ITV HD (113) instead. There isn't a Yorkshire version of that. |
Re: Wrong regional news on Daybreak
It's the Granada region but it isn't a Daybreak fault, 2 days running we have had Calender News and one day last week as well, It is the same on freesat HD and SD and freeview HD and SD as well as virgin HD / SD so it is an ITV fault.

Re: Wrong regional news on Daybreak
That's bizarre. Here in Yorkshire we correctly got Granada news on ITV1 HD and Calendar news on ITV1 SD. Both on cable and Freeview.
What's the Network ID set to on your box? You'll find it in System Info->Diagnostics on TiVo, and Settings->Technical Stuff on the other boxes. |
Re: Wrong regional news on Daybreak
Trust me, My Freesat is correctly set to my post code, and my DVB is connected to Winter Hill but anyways here is my network id: 40967. Each of the last 2 mornings i have quickly switched between all 6 channels during the local news (6:10 a.m.) and they have all been Calendar even on HD.

Re: Wrong regional news on Daybreak
You get exactly the same ITV1HD as me. The only explanation I can find is they had fixed the fault by the time I checked at 8:10.
Let's compare notes tomorrow. |
