Superhub to TP-Link TL-WR1043ND
First off, apologies if I have posted in the wrong place...I'm new here!!
I have posted this on the VM forum, but wonder if anyone else has any suggestions. I been trying to introduce a TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND to my Superhub. The setup (from CD) flies through to the end, then I get 2 errors: 1. Please check WAN Connection Type and Parameters 2. Please check your Network Connectivity and retry I've tried it all a good few times now...even disabled DHCP on the Superhub but still no joy. Any help will be gratefully accepted! Regards, AWH2112 |

Sometimes the "out of the box" firmware on routers can be a bit flaky. Check for updated firmware or consider alternatives such as DD-WRT or open-wrt.

You should ignore the CD Setup.
Just put your SH into Modem Mode, connect the Router WAN port to Port 1 on the SH (it's the one nearest to the VM Cable). Reboot everything and wait for it to settle down. Connect your PC to the TP with a cable to any TP LAN port and you should be able to browse to 192.168.1.1 on the TP. This should normally be the Admin Webpage for the router. |

Many thanks for your replies...I will try again (not using the TP CD) and post the outcome.
