4 HD quality
 

Over the last couple of weeks I have recorded 3 or 4 4 HD programmes and when I came to view them they exhibited intermittent broken sound and pixilated video.

Has there been a problem with the 4 HD feed or could it be the V HD box HD failing? I haven't noticed this problem on recorded programmes from other channels.

I have also noted the HD quality has detiorated on many of the channels.

The main one being ESPN, which seems really bad at times.

I have had problems with 2 or 3 programmes over the same time period but with SYFY HD channel. The recordings also stop for a while and then resume with a gap. I had this before when the downstream power to the tivo was too high. I have now decided to make a note of which programmes fail to see if there is any clue to the problem.

arcimedes; if you are having a problem with SYFY HD then also check Comedy Central HD - if there are also problems on CCHD then it could be a signal problem as they are both on the same frequency

These are likely to be signal problems affecting only you. You'll need to give the VM faults team a call.

I get pixilation on lots of channels at differing times if the day. CH5 HD is one of the worst along with ESPN. Lots of screen drag an pixel blurr. Had the tech guy out and he replaced the cables and checked the levels and everything was fine for a day or two. Now its as bad as ever.

This is not necessarily so it all depends on the region.
