New cable installed in garden. Now power issues and upstream power issues

Hi guys,

Looking for some help.

Just had a new cable installed in garden due to a slice on the old one.

power levels on old cable were

Downstream 0.2dbmv 0.2dbmv .
1.1dbmv 1.4dbmv 2.0dbmv 2.0dbmv

Upstream Channel was 51

Upstream power level 48.0dbmv

Now with the new cable

Downstream 3.5dbmv 3.7dbmv 3.9dbmv 3.9dbmv 5.2dbmv 5.5dbmv

Upstream channel either 49 or 50 but never 51. 51 was stable on old cable

Upstream power level 55.5dbmv-56.5dbmv

Does not seem right nor feel right.

Any help/advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Above 55 will cause issues, should get engineer out to change tap at the cabinet

yeah, it isnt the new cable doing it dude per se, it is where they have plugged your new cable into the cabinet.
