Hiya,

Occasionally I have seen these messages flash up in the past, but not recently.

I was told that they were caused when switching from the slower 3rd tuner to another one of the 2 free ones on the tivo. - I don't believe it always stays on the same tuner when you change channels using the up down / channel number entry as opposed to changing via the info button when you choose the tuner and it obviously uses another tuner.

Am I rambling ? ;)

"Space ... it's really rather big"

You may be suffering from this, or you may have other issues at play. Does anything else niggle you

MrC is basically correct, but it may be made worse if your signal quality on Sky News is borderline. Give the VM faults team a call.

I will give them a ring. Can they also check the signal levels from their centre or does it need an engineer to check all the physical connectors e.g. the one in the path cover the one on my house or the grren box which is about 200 yds up the road.

They can do it remotely. Though to maximise your chances, start recordings on channels 193 and 854, then tune to Sky News, just before you call. That will guarantee all three tuners are on the right frequency.
