Man with bionic leg climbs Willis Tower
An amputee who has had his right leg amputated and replaced with a mind controlled artificial leg has climbed to the Skydeck on the 103rd floor of the Willis tower (also known as the Sears tower) in Chicago. Apparently, it's about 2,100 steps.
He is the first person to do so, did it in under 1 hour and did not take a break. http://news.sky.com/story/1007111/ma...ago-skyscraper I think he deserves respect. I couldn't do that and I have both legs. Unfortunately for him, the $8 million dollar leg is an experimental leg so when he leaves the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (who are treating him, supplied the leg and will be the recipients of money raised at the event) the leg stays behind. |

An incredible feat. Huge admiration for both him and the research that made it possible.
