PAYG 12 mths free data (£60) for existing VM customers
 

Thinking about treating Osem Jnr to a new phone for Xmas and noticed the above deal for Virgin Media customers. Given that the data is worth £60 pa it seems to be an excellent offer but I have a couple of questions. I'm wondering if the new phone comes with a new SIM and therefore a new number? If it does, could he use his existing Virgin SIM (with current number & existing PAYG tariff) in the new phone and put the new SIM in a 3G/GSM enabled tablet to use the data allowance on that?
