Really bad service
Broadband went down completely four times in a few days - no service at all. During the times of complete failure, the ready light on the Superhub was flashing and from the configuration panel it showed that there was no WAN address and there was a load of errors on the network logs.
It's back up now but since it's been back up it's been really slow and I have been unable to really complete any work at all without it taking a large amount of effort and causing frustration. On 30Meg and have been since we were upgraded for free from the 20Meg package and have had no issues like this before (we've obviously had outages but they have been resolved within a day or so). https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2012/09/15.png Downstream Levels Locked 64 459000000 Hz QAM256 4.3 dBmV 38.6 dB 188 0 Locked 61 435000000 Hz QAM256 4.5 dBmV 38.9 dB 43 0 Locked 62 443000000 Hz QAM256 4.7 dBmV 39.0 dB 63 0 Locked 63 451000000 Hz QAM256 4.8 dBmV 39.0 dB 101 0 Locked 65 467000000 Hz QAM256 3.6 dBmV 38.2 dB 134 0 Unlocked Unknown 0 Hz Unknown 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB Unknown Unknown Unlocked Unknown 0 Hz Unknown 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB Unknown Unknown Unlocked Unknown 0 Hz Unknown 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB Unknown Unknown Upstream levels Locked 1 45800000 Hz ATDMA 39.5 dBmV 16QAM 6400000 20480 Kbits/sec Unlocked 0 0 Hz Unknown 0.0 dBmV Unknown Unknown 0 Kbits/sec Unlocked 0 0 Hz Unknown 0.0 dBmV Unknown Unknown 0 Kbits/sec Unlocked 0 0 Hz Unknown 0.0 dBmV Unknown Unknown 0 Kbits/sec Any help is very much appreciated. |
Re: Really bad service
What I do (sorry did when I was with SKY) is unplug the router for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and the speeds go right back up to their normal levels.
