sky remote works tv but not sky plus box
 

My sky remote works the tv but not the sky plus box. I can manually turn it on and change channels.

It is a rev8. So far i have :-

Taken 1 battery out and held select for 60secs

put the remote code in again (this works the tv but not the box)

I have unplugged the box and left it for a while, but again can only operate it manually.

I have used another sky plus remote, and redone the code to work this tv (again tv works but ont sky box)

I bought another sky plus box and had all the same problems again!!

I really don't know what else to try ;-(

May sound simple but ave you tried pressing the Sky button.
