Tracert problem?

I was trying to track a route to a website using cmd/tracert

problem is when I type any website it starts the route 1ms to router then stops at 2/3/4 etc with just * * * * connection timed out.

Is this something to do with the my own router or the SH or the pc tools all in 1 security blocking it from getting past the router?

I can't remember if you can only trace a route if its a direct connection or whether you can do it from the router onwards?

It's not being blocked getting past the router, it's the response being blocked getting back.

You can do a Trace Route from the SuperHub at Advanced Settings>Tools>Trace Route

"Help: The Trace Route area allows you to show the route and transit delays of data packets to a particular IP/Host. Target IP/Name: Input the IP address/Host name of the device/server to trace.
Note: Trace route is preset to use a maximum of 30 hops / 64bytes."

Thanks for the advice I'll play around see whats what.

I can't access the SH while my router is connected it would mean connecting direct to the SH which I'm not that fussed as it means reseting everything to access it
