Dead button

For the past 3 days the button you use on the Tivo remote to jump ahead in 30 second increments on recorded programmes has not been working.Has anyone had this fault?Is it fixable?

Working fine on my tivo, i would think this would be a faulty remote

That's a known software fault. Reboot the TiVo to fix it.

Not unless you reboot whilst a recording is in progress.
