anyone else SH resetting itself
 

Left my computer on overnight to do some downloading but I notice the red line that states my super hub has switched itself off during the early hours, same happened on Tuesday

anyone else had a similar issue and/or know what is causing it?

ever since I installed the new SH I haven't had much issues he touches wood

ps - does anyone know what the small red line means around 4pm yesterday?

...or it could be VM doing some local cable changes. Has your area been speed upgraded?

Take a look at the 'System Up Time' in the SH to see if it reset.

The small packet loss blip could be anything. Possibly a reset.

I did have my SH spontaneously reset twice recently after I switched on the Port Scan option in the firewall.
Interestingly it kept the old log entries from before the restart.

I guess with the Superhub virtually anything is possible but I've seen no other reports of one recovering from what must have been a hang as a simple reset wouldn't last that long. Your connection time in the stats should give some clue. I'd say that the long period of red was a network outage and the rest maybe T3 timeouts - I see them myself but nothing usually shows in the log.

T3 timeout occurs when the cable modem fails to receive a data from the CMTS

so its an error at Virgin's end.

well this modem seems cheap so don't know its ability but perhaps is due to VM mainly or maybe both reason causing the T3 errors
I had them in the past but some how not troubles again for me

yes. getting the same but it only happens after downloading at Max speed.
if you try and max it out over a say 30 min it will disconnect / reboot several times.
otherwise it will stay connected and normal web surfing not be affected.
this seems to have only happened since the new firmware update.
I suspect this is happening to loads more people but they just do not realise what cause is.
