Hi
i was trying to copy something this morning to DVD got the following on screen message ?

Information

Just to let you know that when copying programmes from your V+ box you will see the programmes on your Tv as they copy
you won,t be able to watch anything else while the copy is taking place ?

why is this i have never had this message on screen before ?

Hmm I remember when I had the V+ box I just pressed the TV button and watched the TV as normal whilst it copied

Just means you can watch a TV channel but not playback a recording while using the Copy facility.

On my V+ box, I choose V+ Extras then Copy to VCR/DVD, SELECT WHAT I want to copy, start the DVD recorder then select copy. I can then watch any TV programmes or recorded programmes whilst the recording is happening

If you have a Samsung V+ that's set to SCART output, you can't watch something else at the same time as archiving. Have you recently changed the output from HDMI?
