Birmingham B42 speeds slow to nothing

Can anyone enlighten me. Since Friday speeds have been slow to nothing in the Birmingham B42 area. Rang Virgin and they told me there was a fault which would be rectified by Wed 15th. Checked service status and that is OK. Virgin forum gives varying reasons. Can someone give me the bottom line. If theres a fault then fine as long as I know for sure. Thanks.

Hey cupcakes, your not the only one having this issue right now, do you know what UBR your connected too?

I know right now that there is an issue with perry barr 13, When i spoke to customer support on saturday, the eta on the fix was monday.

Think I'm on the Perry Barr one too. Had an automated message this evening to say it was fixed but it has taken me 20 minutes to post this message.
