Big Problem with SuperHub??
The other day our electricity went off in our shared house so when we got the electricity weve a problem with our superhub it wont connect wirelessly the internet only works when you connect by ethernet cable. Before this happened it was working perfectly and no one has had any problems the landlord rang Virgin and they said to"reset" the SuperHub we've done that a few time and still no joy with the wireless working.

Re: Big Problem with SuperHub??
Might be an idea to check the wireless settings on the Shub. After a reset it may not have your wireless network details.

Re: Big Problem with SuperHub??
If you have reset it then this returns it to default settings so SSID and security passwords will need to be reconfigured, so essentially set it up as you would if you had just received it.

Re: Big Problem with SuperHub??
Depends on what you define as a reset. Just powering it off and on again wont reset the ssid and security passwords, but a pinhole reset will.

Re: Big Problem with SuperHub??
My interpretation of 'reset' is to reset to defaults, not turning something off and on again.
For example I turn my TV off every night, I don't consider this to be resetting it. I took the OP to mean that they pinhole reset the hub but I am sure they will clarify. Perhaps I should of been more explicit in my post. |
Re: Big Problem with SuperHub??
i found your post to be very disingenuous as you implied that resetting/rebooting the shub would solve the ops problems. Can you be more specific in the future with regards to which method of reset will provide the desired results.

Any more snarky off topic posts, and the Loving Mallet of Correction™ may have to be unsheathed - play nicely...
