192.168.0.100 on Superhub connection list??

Hi all,

New to forum so please be gentle :)

I have just checked my device list on my Superhub and ,forgive my naivety, but there is a wireless device of 192.168.0.100 on my connection list. I thought that 192.168.0.100 was the router IP??... if so.. why would it be coming through as a wireless device?

Many thanks - Claytop

The superhub uses 192.168.0.1 for it's own IP.

IIRC 192.168.0.100 is the first IP in the range it can allocate to other devices.

Wouldn't the first ip it can allocate be 192.168.0.2 ?

Depends how VM set up the defaults. I do have a Superhub, but it's running in Modem mode, and I need the network, so I'm not really in a position to check at the moment.

when i switched the SH to router mode (currently i am running to modem mode with my own router) it gave me 192.168.0.2 as you mentioned

I would say if you have not too many complicated set up in the SH, to make a factory reset not via the back hall but via menu as was stated in the VM forums ... i know is not the same case it may helps for possible bugs:

One quick note some users have reported temporary Wireless or Firewall issues after they were first upgraded, but these were solved by logging into the admin menu and doing a full factory reset by clicking on Advanced Settings> Device Management> Reboot Device/Reset Device> Restore to Factory Defaults.
