The Daily Show with Jon Stewart back on in UK

Well I completely managed to miss this

This just in: The Daily Show With Jon Stewart is coming back to British TV screens.
...
Its new home is Comedy Central UK - which makes sense, as Comedy Central is its American home - and it will air weeknights at 10.30pm from Monday 23 July. (Comedy Central UK being on Sky 128 and Virgin Media 125, remote control fans.) Mondays will see the Global Edition of the show, with Tuesdays-Fridays being the previous night's US episode.
But TiVo got it a Suggestion ;) so it's now definately set to record

The Daily Show is very good. Although their researchers are pretty poor when it comes to matters outside the US. Still, it would be nice if we had a equivalent program, nothings beat it when they show a politician or media figure directly contradicting an earlier argument they made previously.

Actually I quite enjoy the fact that they don't know all the details of the UK..it's refreshing to see 'us' from a completely different viewpoint.:)

Well I saw one episode where Jon Stewart was interviewing Tony Blair and he was unaware 'England' (Blair corrected him to say 'Britain') was part of Europe. He said that he understood we were part of the geographic region but were not part of the EU, which again was wrong.

To be fair I can imagine it's very confusing. There is 'Europe', then there is the 'EU', then the 'Euro'. You then have the European Court of Human Rights on top of that. Not to mention the England/United Kingdom/Britain/Great Britain issue.
