Well done Bradley Wiggins
First Briton ever to win the Tour de France. Amazing. To top it off, Chris Froome comes second, and Cavendish wins the sprint on the Champs Elysee. :tu:
Who is going to stop these boys at the Olympics. |
Re: Well done Bradley Wiggins
Sorry but I believe in that old proverb..Don't count your chickens until they hatch..:erm:
That way disappointment is avoided.;) |
Re: Well done Bradley Wiggins
Ermm, I'm not saying they will win. I'm saying they look like they will be very hard to beat.

Re: Well done Bradley Wiggins
Agree - a marvellous achievement by someone who's demonstrated what fair play is all about. Fingers crossed the form holds for the next few weeks!

Re: Well done Bradley Wiggins
I liked the way in yesterday's and today's interviews Wiggins was very humble, and as he said himself, it was obvious his achievement hadn't sunk in yet.
I guess he'll wake up in a couple of days time a very happy man :) Well done to him and Froome. |
Re: Well done Bradley Wiggins
A brilliant achievement by a brilliant Cyclist.

Re: Well done Bradley Wiggins
I actually turned off the F1 yesterday to watch the final stage of the TdF.. Great finish (I thought they'd never catch the breakaway group) and a well deserved Tour victory to Bradley
They have a great chance on this form at the Olympics |
