I actually agree with the ASA in this case. Complete nonsense from VM this time.

I feel like going over to VM HQ and punching someone for being so stupid. You have got to love the irony of VM having the nerve to put in a complaint about a genuinely unlimited service when they do everything they can to twist words and bend rules to limit theirs. They forgot to mention in their example that the 87gb was assuming full speed with no congestion/over subscription!!!

They might as well of reported them for their unsecure routers...

...no wait that would cause a backlash.. just like this :dozey:

Let's try to stay on topic, and not raise unrelated pet obsessions....

LMAO. VM getting rapped dozens of times for their advertising but go on to complain "Unlimited" is limited by the speed of the line?

Ahem... STM anybody? They're more guilty of limiting the speed of the line than anybody.

Perhaps a new thread qas? You have no vested interest in this, however: If a sufficient number of VM customers are that annoyed.... Just a thought.

Why, his comment was inline with this threads topic just as mine was?

Are they really complaining about something they do themselves?

On the note of frivolous lawsuits, Apple are being forced to publicly apologize to Samsung on their own homepage and in various newspapers for their idiotic suing spree. Someone should try that on VM...

Re: ASA refuses to uphold VM's complaint

How ridiculous. Virgin saying that SKY can't claim unlimited because it's 'copper'

they should be ashamed of themselves for even thinking of putting the complaint in.

I still can't believe it!

Yet you argued the very same point in this thread:

Yes. And? It's all about context.

What VM are arguing is exactly what you argued in the other thread. The other thread was just a real world application of why VM failed here. Context is exactly the same.
