Landline Fault

Hi,

Is there anybody here who can pull some strings in VM land to get a land line fixed that has been out of action since about 1pm?

The phone belongs to my dad who is disabled and has a alarm pendant / emergency phone alarm system and he needs it working again asap.

Any help greatly appreciated! :)

Is the phone line registered with VM as an essential service? I know there used to be some sort of prioritisation for phones that were viewed as lifeline, but don't know if that is still the case in the world of modern tech with mobile phones, and if it only applied to BT.

Hi Rob,

I don't know if it has been registered with VM as an essential service, Didn't know you could. Guess we better get that looked into once it's running again.

I saw it mentioned on Virgin forums by a VM Tech a few months ago, so should still be possible. I think you have to request a form from them - you can do this at same time as reporting fault.
