Is it true Virgin Mobile caps your daily limit to 25mb?!?!
I was just about to get a virgin contract deal I have seen, and then saw in the small print it states 25mb per day cap. So it is advertised as 500mb per month, yet I can only use 25mb per day!? What? Is this right? What if I want to use 100mb in one day as a one off? Seems ludicrous. Or have I miss read this?

You've misread it ;)
If you don't have an inclusive allowance there is a charging scheme where once you get to 25MB in a day you get charged an additional cost if you go over http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/gener...hop.sm287#Data http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/gener...ges.shop.sm142 But on most contract tariffs the allowance is monthly e.g 500MB or 1GB |
Re: Is it true Virgin Mobile caps your daily limit to 25mb?!?!
I just spoke to an agent on the chat thing on the website I said to her if I have a 500mb internet tariff do I still have a daily cap of 25mb, and she said yes. Is she incorrect? I can't see where this is clearly explained on that link above Ben, but thanks for trying. I will go and read it all again.
---------- Post added at 11:02 ---------- Previous post was at 10:55 ---------- Just phoned them as well and another lady said there was no daily cap and also the 500mb per month cannot be capped even if you want it to, so you can go over and incur charges. That's a shame...is there a way to manage this and what would the charges be? |

The costs once you go over a Pay Monthly tariff are on the second link I posted:
